You will not get your security deposit back and he will OFTEN ask you for the rent a few weeks in advance under the guise that the AC/Power/Lights will be shut off by the utility company or water company because he did not have the money to pay it for addictive reasons of course! If he signs a rental receipt he will pretend that you still owe him in testing your memory unless you show him the receipt. He will make several attempts to borrow your car and (disappear with it for a whole day or two while ignoring your calls and texts when he said he needed it for just an hour!) along with a host of other numerous vices such as screaming at the top of his lungs at 2am dozens of times at ladies of the evening along with a jailbird girl friend! You can only gain his respect like a past tenant by going crazy and punching him in the face twice with cops being called and then he just might leave you alone and stop treating you like a pushover. OF COURSE his present ad shows he has not changed. He is giving you a $100.00 discount if you pay BEFORE the 1st of the month because he is projecting a shortage of cash a week or 2 before the first of the month! His idea of BEFORE the 1st of the month can be a ridiculous 3 weeks in advance!!!

The location is amazing, just a 4 minute walk to the Atlantic but it is not worth it, I currently live on this street and 20 years ago J.M. drove like a lunatic on this dead end street and almost hit kids with his car in a few close calls and of course blamed the kids. Also, a long time deceased tenant of J.M.'s house would talk to me every few weeks and gave me the low down on this lunatic druggie who not only harassed him but had stolen a hefty sum of cash from him when this cancer stricken tenant fainted and 911was called. When he returned from the hospital a day later his $3000.00 in cash was gone from his studio apartment! Also, when J.M. was away for a week (out of State) upon return he claimed that $200.00 in water was used in his absence, this shows that he's delusional too. Don't be a victim. One week he put 740 miles on this tenant's car who feared more harassment as he was going through another round of chemo! ALSO, since he has discovered this posting he has disguised his apt. as just Atlantic Avenue but is now N. Atlantic avenue with the same contact phone number! He has discovered my posting alert and is NOW avoiding his phone number and is using a friends number. 321 6*6-4**4 AND 321 4*2-7**6. He is doing his best to dodge my alert. Hence, the same apt. is listed at $1250.00.
