Vintage Chippendale Accent Table, Oak or Mahogany Base with Heavy Travertine Top, 22” X 22” X 23.75” high, Very Good Condition.
The ornately carved base (20” X 20” X 22.75” high) is either oak or light-colored mahogany, very sturdy and well made. I suspect it originally had another type or top due to the fancy carved rests on each corner. Although generally described as Chippendale style with carved apron and ball & claw feet, it could also be French Provincial or Rocco or Italian Neoclassical according to an AI search.
Similar pieces online and in antique stores go for $250 to $850 and more. I will take $150 for this one as we have downsized and no longer have a good place for it.
