I bought this for my granddaughter... turns out, she wanted a truck.
For her, it had to be perfect. I looked at six Z3s before I found this beauty. Original owner drove it 34,741 miles.
I bought it from the 2nd owner who'd driven an additional 12,700... miles today 47,400 real miles... yes, I have documentation... meticulously maintained, garaged since birth.
The body is flawless... orginal red paint... interior mint condition black leather. Power seats, A/C, power windowns, cruise control, high end sound system with CD player in trunk.
The trunk is loaded with Beemer stuff... car cover, etc. Has a nice case with Owner's Manual... including a cassette with blab about the car... Beemer produced.
When I had it serviced, I was told it needed tires. What? They looked like brand new. Wrong. The tires were 14 years old. Yes, I bought 4 new... mounted, balanced, aligned.
Runs and drives perfectly...
The car is now in my garage in Grant, Florida.
If you can find a nicer one, buy it.
On the down side, I'm an old guy... I can barely get in and out of it.

First Owner
When the first owner(s) obtains a title from a Department of Motor Vehicles as proof of ownership.
Inspections
Many states or counties require annual or biennial emissions and/or safety inspections. Odometer readings are collected at the time of the inspection.
New Owner Reported
When a vehicle is sold to a new owner, the Title must be transferred to the new owner(s) at a Department of Motor Vehicles.
Ownership History
CARFAX defines an owner as an individual or business that possesses and uses a vehicle. Not all title transactions represent changes in ownership. To provide estimated number of owners, CARFAX proprietary technology analyzes all the events in a vehicle history. Estimated ownership is available for vehicles manufactured after 1991 and titled solely in the US including Puerto Rico.
