NOTE: Originally asking $1000 for everything. Individual parts would sell for more than this. PLEASE NOTE: All these components are engineered for each other. The Crossovers are poly film made for these woofers. Research these drivers and you will see the possibilities. The work required is minimal and the satisfaction of making these could be immense. This “kit” contains rare and expensive DYNAUDIO, SEAS and GEMSTONE drivers, Professional DYNAUDIO Crossovers, double thick custom enclosures made for these speakers (all cross-braced), veneered in white ash and just refinished, wiring, basically everything to assemble MEGA high-end DYNAUDIO speakers. The cabinets each have two VARO-VENTS that offer the tightness of a sealed speaker and efficiency of a ported one. I have two custom grills made with brown cloth.
WOOFERS - A matched pair of magnesium die-cast Dynaudio 30W54-06 6-ohm 30mm (about 12 inch) woofers with huge Voice coils and flat wire technology. The cone is reinforced with a double-spoke voice coil, which enhances power handling and reduces distortion even at high volume levels.
Dynaudio engineered these to be their best 12-inch woofers for ultra-high-end high-fidelity systems. These beauties have be completely rebuilt due to their value and desirability.
MIDRANGE – These are GERMAN made 7” Aramid fiber mid ranges made for SEA’s (like new). They are matched to acoustic cups that isolate the midrange from cabinet interference.
TWEETERS – These are angled-array, three-inch, premium Gemstone® speaker’s drivers used in several high-end systems. They sound crisp and clear and offer a wide soundstage. Goes to 22,000 HZ (in an array) reproducing the uppermost frequencies, delivering crisp highs for vocals and cymbals.
CROSSOVERS – These are genuine DYNAUDIO Made crossovers DF-3-160. They are for large DYNAUDIO systems with crossover points; 800 hertz and 5000 hertz using first order constant voltage slopes. They are time aligned and built with poly film caps, custom open coils, heavy copper PWBs and in top shape. They have been pre-wired so you just attach speakers after assembly.
DIY TASKS – Everything is there (including screws) to build this world-class speakers.
I have four faceplates cut to size depending on single or double thickness you wish.
Cut the holes, mount drivers, wire to crossovers (all marked).
Install grill covers and MAKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
