Rare vintage lot of heavy-duty "zero-throw" turtle casters for theater stage scenery platforms or studio wagons. Proudly Made in USA with "Patent Pending" stamps. These unique commercial units rarely hit the secondary market, making a complete set with this many original backup parts a great find.
​The triple-ball core inserts allow instant 360" multi-directional movement without wheel chatter. Large dome outer housings protect mechanisms and act as a built-in cable plow on set.
​Lot includes:
​4 Outer dome housings (21" circ., 6.7" dia., 8x4 cm top pocket, 4" deep)
​3 Extra loose core inserts (3.74" dia.)
​7 Center pins (15/32" thick, 1 1/2" long; 5 with caps, 2 without)
​4 Locking caps
​Great structural condition; internal parts roll smoothly. Note: One housing has a prominent vertical surface scratch on the bottom half that looks like a crack in photos, but it is strictly cosmetic and completely solid. Excellent functional technician bundle!
