Applicants must be able to perform all functions of a Veterinary Assistant/Technician and 2 years of clinical experience.
We are a busy fast -past client centered clinic.
The right candidate must have an outgoing personality, good work ethic, be dependable, self motivated, and maintain professional behavior.
Utilize your skills in exam room techniques, client education, medical record keeping, surgical prep, patient care and treaments.
Daily duties include patient check-in , exam room techniques, surgical prep and monitoring, basic phone and computer skills and through cleaning through out the day.
Applicants must be able to successfully preform but not limited to the following: prepping and monitoring animals for/during surgery; calculate dosages; SQ, IM and IV injections, draw blood (including Jugulars); lab work; and general cleaning. Must be skilled at communicating in a professional manner and to educate clients, as well as direct client interaction with a proven ability to communicate compassionately and effectively in high stress situations.
Hours may vary , most likely Wednesday through Saturday. 6:45 am to 4 pm.
Pay will be based on national average, but will be based on past experience and ability.Drug Free work place.
