Duties Include, but are not limited to:
• Talent Acquisition – manage recruitment strategies, conduct interviews, schedule interviews, coordinate on-boarding to attract and maintain top talent.
• Employee Relations – serve as mediator for conflict resolution, handle grievances, and advise management of disciplinary actions
• Benefits Administration – open enrollment, maintaining employee census, handling benefit inquiries, COBRA and Short-term disability
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
• Succession Planning – identify critical roles, determine key competencies by outlining specific skills, knowledge and experience required for these pivotal roles.
• Job descriptions – maintain and update job descriptions
• Onboarding- process new hire paperwork, getting new hires ready for first day, making sure new hires have the proper document(s) for I9
• OSHA – maintain records of workplace illnesses and injuries, handles the digital reporting of severe incidents to OSHA
