Custodian needed Monday through Saturday from 6pm until 10pm and Sunday from 6pm until 9pm. This job is for 7 days per week for a total of 27 hours per week, this job pays $15.00 per hour to start with an increase to $16.00 per hour after a 90 day probationary period. The following holidays are off with pay after 90 probationary period, Christmas Day and Thanks Giving Day. Dependable, honest, long term, detail orientated and positive attitude is a must. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality and appearance
Handle janitorial tasks with precision, ensuring restrooms, kitchens, and common areas are hygienic and well-stocked with supplies
Assist with industrial cleaning projects and commercial cleaning tasks that require specialized equipment or techniques
Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and furniture to uphold a professional environment
Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards
Requirements
Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or residential settings
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing, and industrial cleaning methods
Ability to operate cleaning equipment including buffers, vacuums, floor scrubbers, and related tools effectively
Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment or supplies
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
