Schedule: 1st Shift – Must arrive no later than 6:00 AM until route is finished

Hours: Approximately 40 hours/week (On-call basis)

hiring Driver Helpers to assist Route Drivers with residential and commercial waste and recycling collection. This is a physical, outdoor position working as part of a team to provide safe and efficient waste collection services.
Responsibilities:
Assist Route Driver with daily waste and recycling collection routes
Load and empty residential/commercial containers into collection trucks
Operate lifting equipment to empty bins and containers
Assist the driver with backing maneuvers and route safety
Report safety concerns, incidents, accidents, or service issues
Communicate customer requests and route issues to supervisors
Follow all WM safety rules, OSHA requirements, and company procedures
Complete assigned duties as directed by Route Manager or Dispatch
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Less than 1 year of previous experience required
Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical assessment
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, twist, and handle up to 70 lbs
Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred:
Interest in obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
PPE Required:

✅ Jeans or shorts (no rips or tears)
✅ Hat optional
