Available to work over the next few weeks. Unit is vacant.
Kitchen Currently:
Cabinets are MDF with laminate faces.
Cabinet boxes are sound overall.
Some water damage is present and needs to be evaluated honestly.
Current countertops are laminate.
Two possible renovation paths
Option 1. Refinish existing kitchen
Refinish MDF cabinets for a clean visual reset.
Address or replace any water damaged cabinet components as needed.
Refinish or resurface existing laminate countertops or replace with butcher block.
Option 2. Replace kitchen using used cabinets and countertops
Help evaluate whether a used kitchen sourced from Facebook Marketplace will fit the space.
modify, and install used cabinets
Install either granite or butcher block countertops depending on what is sourced.
Granite may require re cutting and polishing.
What I am looking for
Real experience with MDF cabinet refinishing and cabinet installation.
Comfort advising on the better option rather than forcing a sale.
Willingness to visit the unit, discuss options, and bid a defined scope.
