Job Summary:
We are currently hiring Driver Helpers to assist Route Drivers with the collection of waste and recyclable materials. This role involves working outdoors, supporting daily routes, and ensuring safe and efficient service. Candidates must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Route Driver with the collection of waste and recyclable materials
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Immediately report any unsafe conditions or service-related issues to management
Work collaboratively with the driver to complete assigned routes on time
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Schedule:
Monday through Friday availability required
35–40 hours per week
Rotating days off during the week
Requirements:
Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physical labor
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Must follow all safety rules and procedures
PPE Requirements:
Steel-toed 6-inch lace-up boots
Safety glasses
Gloves
Jeans or shorts
Breakaway safety vest (temporary vests may be provided if needed)
Sleeve length does not matter
