seeking dependable and hardworking Driver Helpers to join our team in Cocoa, Florida. This is an immediate hiring need for candidates who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a fast-paced team environment.
Job Responsibilities
Assist Route Drivers with residential and commercial waste collection.
Load and empty waste and recycling containers into collection trucks.
Help drivers safely back vehicles and navigate routes.
Report safety concerns, service issues, and route interruptions.
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Communicate customer requests to dispatch or route management.
Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 70 lbs.
Ability to bend, twist, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must successfully pass a drug screen, physical, background check, and employment verification.
Previous experience is not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Required PPE
Steel-toed boots (6-inch)
Safety vest
Work gloves
Shorts or jeans (no rips or tears)
Hat (optional)
Important Information
Must arrive no later than 6:00 AM each workday.
Employees are required to sign in and sign out daily.
Work is performed outdoors and may involve exposure to weather, dirt, odors, and noise.
