Barkingham Palace has an opening for a professional and friendly front desk receptionist who can multitask and deliver excellent customer service. As the first point of contact for our clients, the receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring that our guests and their owners have a pleasant and memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
* Greet customers entering the building with warmth and professionalism.
* Answer a multiple line phone system and assist callers with inquiries.
* Maintain a clean and organized front desk.
* Utilize computer programs, including our reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
with customers and team members.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to invoice and collect payment from customers.
Requirements:
* Prior veterinary experience a plus but not required.
* Computer proficiency is a must.
* Must possess strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with customers and team members.
* Must be able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be reliable and punctual.
* Must have a positive and professional attitude.
* Must have a familiarity with dogs, and be comfortable handling and working with them.
