I have two sets of King rod bearings and one set of King coated main bearings for an LS engine. Please read below:
$75 MB5013XPC coated LS main bearings. MSRP $166 at Summit
$30 CR807XPN LS rod bearings. Half are still sealed in the plastic and never assembled. MSRP $70 at Summit
$30 CR807XPN001 .001" undersized LS rod bearings. Half are still sealed in the plastic and never assembled. MSRP $83 at Summit
Or $120 and you can have all three sets
All three of these packages have been opened and some of the bearings briefly installed and removed (never run) after finding that they were all too tight for my build (~.0015" on a standard unground LS crank - they would be great for NA, tight clearance, or a slightly undersized or reground crank, but I was building a supercharged motor and wanted more clearance). Because they were assembled, the finish shows a few small impressions where plastigauge and dial bore measurements were taken, but these will not affect the bearings - normal operation will mark them far more within minutes of the startup. I have taken close up photos with flash to highlight the finish and make it as clear as possible.
Any of these would also be great to use if you need to mix and match a set of bearings to get a .0005" adjustment on clearance. Happy to sell individually if you only want one.
