About the Role
TotalCareIT is a growing MSP looking for a disciplined, process-driven engineer to own centralized services and deliver onsite projects. This is a hands-on, onsite role—not remote. You’ll be responsible for standardization, automation, and executing high-quality project work in client environments.
What You’ll Do
Own and manage core MSP tools (RMM, PSA, M365, security stack, backup, patching)
Drive standardization across all client environments
Build automation (PowerShell, scripting) to reduce tickets and improve efficiency
Maintain patching, monitoring, and alerting across endpoints
Be fanatical about documentation—everything documented, always
Identify recurring issues and eliminate them permanently
Project Work (Professional Services):
Execute onsite IT projects (M365 migrations, network/firewall installs, cloud transitions, security deployments)
Handle assessments, installs, and cutovers at client sites
Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to standard
What We’re Looking For
4+ years in an MSP or similar environment
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 / Azure
Solid networking skills (firewalls, switching, VPNs)
Experience with endpoint management and security tools
Ability to follow process, enforce standards, and execute without hand-holding
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Bonus Points
Experience with Autotask, Datto, or Microsoft 365
PowerShell / automation skills
Familiarity with CMMC, NIST, or compliance environments
