Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician - Pipe Mechanic to join our team, supporting industrial and commercial electrical projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites, with a focus on pipe and conduit work. The ideal candidate will have experience working with low and high voltage systems, reading schematics, and utilizing various hand and power tools. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC and be comfortable working in dynamic construction environments. Requirements
Pass a Level II background Check.
Possess a valid Florida Drivers License.
Pass a Drug Test.
WORK NIGHT SHIFT 4x10hr SHIFT M-Th START RANGE 3-5PM DEPENDING ON PROJECT
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, including pipe conduit wiring.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Use hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters, ammeters, to diagnose electrical issues.
Work with low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to safety standards outlined by NEC regulations.
Perform wiring of control panels, switchgear, and other electrical components in construction environments.
Assist in framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations where necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
Skills
Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site work.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
Knowledge of NEC codes related to low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
Experience working with pipe conduit installation and mechanical piping systems.
Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with framing carpentry as it relates to electrical infrastructure setup.
Strong understanding of safety procedures for working on construction sites involving electrical systems.
