Currier TK continues to grow and is seeking a full-time 6G Pipe TIG/GTAW welder to be part of our talented team. At this time, we are only looking for applicants with existing experience. WE ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE. Currier TK is a specialty fabricator producing turn-key aviation fueling skids. You will be mastering a position to weld while reading blueprints and drawings and collaborating with the production lead. We offer on the job training to assist in making the most of the abilities you currently bring to the team. You will become part of a small highly skilled team, where you can grow and become successful as an individual. Your contributions would be immediately seen. If you like to work in small agile groups – this is the perfect opportunity.

Responsibilities
• Reading blueprints and drawings, weldments to specs/details provided
• Setting up any equipment or machinery required to complete project
• 6G Pipe Welding – TIG/GTAW
• Maintain use of any necessary Personal Protective Equipment
• Test and inspect all weld surfaces for any flaws
• Maintain equipment in a proper and safe manner

Qualifications
• At least 3 years’ experience as TIG/GTAW welder
• Ability to lift 20 pounds regularly and occasionally more
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures helpful (TIG, MIG, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Attention to detail
• Professional Certification (ASME, AWE, etc…)
